The current committee is drawn from amongst the supporters. This ensures that those who serve have the best interests of the club at heart and are passionate about the outcome. These fans give up a considerable amount of time, usually at personal expense. Their dedication is vital to the club and without them the club would struggle to function.
Our committee consists of the following selfless individuals:
Michael Hogan (Hogey) – President
Mike Hogan will have served most of you a burger or chips at one time or another. In fact the Hogey Burger is famous around Hendon and Cricklewood. He joined the Committee in 1963 and served in the tea hut since the Association took responsibility for managing it. He is a stalwart of the Committee and recognisable to every Hendon fan. At the 2014 AGM Michael Hogan was awarded Life President for over 50 years of dedicated service to the Supporters Association.
Sandra Wood – Chairman
Sandra joined the Committee in the early 90’s and has pretty much run the club shop with her sister Geraldine since then. The first game she saw was 1965 – the Amateur Cup semi final. Sandra met her husband Tony at Hendon and her daughters have been regular supporters since they were young.
Graham Rice – Treasurer
Graham has been a loyal supporter of the club for a long number of years. He is has been all over southern england, usually by public transport. He recently took over the role of Treasurer.
John Rice – Secretary
John has recently rejoined the committee. Following Rocky’s suggestion John instigated uploading the matchday programmes as PDFs downloads on this website. He also created Twitter Titters 1 & 2. Having supported Hendon since he was 7 years old he has a few years under his belt. This website is his fault as well.
Bernard has been a member of the committee for longer than he cares to remember. He served in the tea hut alongside Mike Hogan and Derek Fermedge for a number of years. These days he sells programmes by the front gate.
John Rock (Rocky)
Rocky has been a Hendon fan since the early 80’s. He and his brother were very vocal regulars behind the goal. Initially he joined the Committee in the late 80’s. After a brief absence due to work commitments he rejoined in 2010.
John has been a Hendon fan for 60 years. He has seen every cup final Hendon have appeared in within that 60 years. He joined the Committee in 2011 because he wanted to do more and get involved.
A supporter interested in helping out in whatever capacity they can or even finding out more should contact a committee member. We can never have enough help. So if you have experience of administration, marketing, finance, sales or management we are sure you will be able to contribute.
